Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Executive Dating introduction service ("the Service") operated by [Business Name / Individual — to be confirmed before launch] ("Executive Dating", "we", "us", "our"), operating in Gauteng, South Africa.
By submitting an enquiry, attending a consultation, or becoming a member of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
2. The Service
Executive Dating is a private, human-led introduction and matchmaking service. We do not operate a dating application, a profile-browsing platform, or an algorithm-based matching system. All introductions are made at the sole discretion of the advisor following personal assessment of each member's circumstances, preferences, and suitability.
3. Membership and Acceptance
3.1 Membership is offered by invitation only, following a personal review of your enquiry and a face-to-face or virtual consultation meeting.
3.2 We reserve the right to decline any application at our sole discretion, without being required to provide a reason for our decision.
3.3 Membership is personal and non-transferable. It may not be assigned or shared with any other person.
3.4 You must be 18 years of age or older to apply for or hold membership.
3.5 You must be legally free to enter a new romantic relationship at the time of your application and throughout your membership.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 The current membership fee is R5,500 (five thousand five hundred rand) for a 12-month membership period.
4.2 Fees are only payable after formal acceptance of membership following your consultation meeting. No fee is payable to submit an enquiry or to attend a consultation.
4.3 Membership fees are non-refundable once membership has been formally accepted and the introduction process has commenced, except as required by applicable South African consumer law.
4.4 There are no automatic renewals. Any renewal of membership requires your express, voluntary consent and a new membership agreement.
4.5 All fees are quoted and payable in South African Rand (ZAR).
5. No Guarantee of Introduction or Compatibility
5.1 Executive Dating does not guarantee that any specific number of introductions will be made during your membership period.
5.2 We do not guarantee compatibility, a successful relationship, romantic connection, or any particular outcome arising from the Service or from any introduction made.
5.3 Introductions are made at the discretion of the advisor based on subjective suitability assessments that cannot be guaranteed to result in a connection or relationship.
6. Identity, Honesty, and Accuracy
6.1 You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information at all times — including during your enquiry, your consultation, and throughout your membership.
6.2 You agree to notify us promptly of any material change in your circumstances that may affect your membership, including but not limited to changes in relationship status, marital status, or place of residence.
6.3 We reserve the right to require identity verification before or during membership. Membership may be terminated without refund if false or materially misleading information is provided.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA Data Processing Notice. Please read these documents carefully before submitting any personal information.
8. Member Conduct
8.1 You agree to treat all members, introductions, and advisors with dignity, honesty, and respect at all times.
8.2 Harassment, abuse, misrepresentation, dishonesty, or any unlawful conduct will result in immediate termination of membership without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.
9. Confidentiality
9.1 You agree to keep the identities, contact details, personal information, and circumstances of all members and individuals introduced to you strictly confidential.
9.2 You may not share, publish, post on social media, or disclose information about any other member or introduced person without their express written consent.
9.3 This obligation of confidentiality survives the termination or expiry of your membership.
10. Termination
10.1 Either party may terminate membership by written notice.
10.2 In the event of your termination by Executive Dating due to breach of these Terms, no refund of membership fees will be provided.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, Executive Dating shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, damage, harm, distress, or disappointment arising from:
- The outcome of any introduction;
- The behaviour, actions, or representations of any member, introduction, or third party;
- Any decision made by you in connection with a relationship arising from the Service;
- Any interruption, delay, or unavailability of the Service.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any material changes. Continued use of the Service following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
